Physical Therapist / Occupational Therapist - Lymphedema Therapy

Job Description

This is a 13-week contract position. We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist who specializes in lymphedema therapy to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the lymphatic system and related conditions, and be skilled in providing evidence-based treatment to patients.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients with lymphedema or related conditions.
• Provide Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT), including Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) and Compression Bandaging.
• Conduct garment fitting and therapeutic exercises.
• Offer skin care education and monitor patient progress.
• Adjust treatment plans as needed and educate patients and caregivers on home management and prevention.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current license as a Physical Therapist (PT) or Occupational Therapist (OT) in Pennsylvania.
• Certification in Lymphedema Therapy from an accredited program (e.g., CLT or equivalent), or extensive experience treating lymphedema patients.
• Strong knowledge of lymphatic system and related conditions, with a compassionate approach to working with patients experiencing chronic conditions.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts (5 × 8 hour shifts per week).
