Registered Nurse - Float Position

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3 × 12-hour shifts, 7 AM - 7:30 PM, every other weekend, and no call responsibilities during the assignment.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will work in a float capacity, providing care across various departments as needed. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in utilizing bi-pap and hi-flow oxygen therapy and possess strong clinical skills to effectively manage patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in various departments.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and respond to changes promptly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Provide education and support to patients and families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Experience with bi-pap and hi-flow oxygen therapy is essential.
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required; ACLS certification preferred.
• Must have an active Pennsylvania nursing license upon start.
