Physical Therapist - Acute Inpatient Rehab

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist with primary experience in Acute Inpatient settings to evaluate and re-evaluate assigned residents/patients. The candidate will plan and implement an ongoing therapeutic physical therapy program as prescribed by the attending physician and/or consulting specialist. The role includes providing consulting physical therapist services as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assess and develop therapeutic physical therapy programs for assigned patients.
• Provide ongoing evaluations and modify treatment plans based on patient progress and physician recommendations.
• Deliver primary coverage in Acute Rehabilitation services and secondary coverage in ICF/SNF Rehab settings.
• Ensure availability to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as necessary, based on hospital operations.

Schedule

• Variable schedule options: Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:00pm, Tues-Sat 8:30am-5:00pm, or Sun-Thurs 8:30am-5:00pm.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 6 months of work experience in at least one of the following settings: Acute, Rehabilitation Hospital, SNF.
• Active State of Hawaii Physical Therapist license required by start date.
• BLS certification is necessary.
