Staff Physical Therapist

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional weekend coverage for inpatient/swing bed evaluations.

Job Description

The staff physical therapist is responsible for the evaluation, consultation, and treatment of patients. This role involves the overall utilization, supervision, and instruction of professional and supportive staff, volunteers, and students in physical therapy related to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patients progress to prior levels of function or maximum medical improvement according to their Plan of Care.
• Perform comprehensive assessments on patients, including pediatric, adolescent, geriatric, and general populations.
• Maintain accurate records related to patient care, including progress reports, daily notes, and special reports as required.
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and ensure adherence to therapy protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Earned degree from an accredited program in Physical Therapy.
• Current Colorado Licensure as a Physical Therapist.
