Healthcare Assistant

Schedule

This position is a full-time role, working Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with some weekend shifts as needed.

Job Description

The Healthcare Assistant will support patient care in both the inpatient rehabilitation unit and the acute care medical-surgical unit. This role is crucial in providing direct care to patients, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities for patients
• Monitor and record vital signs
• Support rehabilitation programs under supervision
• Maintain a clean and safe patient environment
• Collaborate with nursing staff and healthcare providers for optimal patient care

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Candidates must have relevant experience in a healthcare setting. Certification as a Nursing Assistant may be preferred but is not required. Compliance with all state and facility regulations is necessary.
