Registered Nurse - Emergency and Med-Surg Departments

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Rotating days and nights, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Every third weekend and holiday coverage based on rotation.

Job Description

The Staff Registered Nurse will cover both the emergency department and med-surg department, providing high-quality patient care in a critical access hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient vital signs and overall health status.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
• Experience in emergency and med-surg nursing preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
