Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency and Med-Surg Departments

Schedule

This position includes rotating days and nights, with 12-hour shifts on weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Staff will work every third weekend and holiday coverage will be based on rotation.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care in both the emergency department and med-surg department. Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care in accordance with established guidelines and protocols.
• Assess patient needs and develop appropriate care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding treatment plans and care procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in emergency and med-surg nursing preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
