Registered Nurse - Full-Time Day Shift

Job Description

This position involves planning and providing total patient care through the nursing process, which includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs. The registered nurse will also guide patient teaching and oversee the activities of ancillary personnel while upholding professional nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop care plans.
• Implement nursing interventions and monitor patient progress.
• Evaluate patient outcomes and modify care plans as necessary.
• Direct and educate patients on their care and treatment.
• Guide and supervise ancillary staff in patient care activities.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Iowa RN license.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications required.
• Experience preferred but not required.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule, consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week, including holiday and weekend rotation.
