Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Surgery

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

4 ten-hour shifts from 0800-1830 with a two-week rotating schedule. No required call or floating.

Job Description

The Ambulatory Surgery department provides pre, intra, and post-operative care to surgical and procedural sedation patients. We cater to a diverse patient population, including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and elderly patients. Our services encompass various provider specialties, ensuring that patients are well-cared for whether they are returning home the same day or being admitted to the hospital.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre, intra, and post-operative nursing care to patients.
• Administer medications and monitor patient vitals.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Educate patients and families about surgical procedures and care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission.
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification required.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required.
