Radiology Technologist - Night Shift

Nights - 6 PM to 6 AM

Job Description

As a Radiology Technologist, you will perform a variety of imaging procedures, including X-ray, Fluoroscopy, and CT, while ensuring patient safety protocols are adhered to. You will act as the primary interface with patients to fulfill their imaging requirements effectively.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to the established dress code to promote a professional image.
• Attend all mandatory education and in-service programs to maximize job potential.
• Be punctual to work and assignments, complying with departmental time management standards.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements relating to medical records and patient condition.
• Accurately maintain Medical Imaging patient medical records.
• Identify patients and review requisitions for consistency, ensuring demographic information is accurate.
• Ensure patient safety by assessing conditions and utilizing restraint/support devices as needed.
• Document patient information accurately in compliance with established protocols.
• Participate in training and orientation of new employees.
• Observe safety rules to ensure patient comfort and care during procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduation from an accredited/approved school of radiology.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Valid Illinois Radiology license required.
• CPR/AED and CT certifications are also required.
