Clinical Staff Educator

Job Description

The Clinical Staff Educator provides education and instruction for clinical staff, acting as a resource regarding healthcare education and training programs. This role introduces technical and theoretical concepts in teaching methods. The educator collaborates with department managers and clinical nurse coordinators to foster continuous improvement and educational development across the system.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a variety of educational activities without loss of efficiency.
• Evaluate programs and participant learning to implement necessary changes.
• Support the development of educational modules with department managers.
• Utilize and promote simulation training using mannequins and simulation software.
• Identify educational opportunities in collaboration with the Quality Management team.
• Participate in required education for DNV programs as applicable.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; Master of Science in Nursing strongly preferred.
• Licensure: Current Oregon RN license; certifications in Healthcare Provider CPR, CNOR, ACLS, and PALS required.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years hospital nursing experience; 3 years of OR experience required.
• Skills: Proficiency in computer use, teaching techniques, and simulation training.

This is a Day Shift position.

This position is located in Oregon.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
