Supervisor/Charge Nurse - Med Surg and ER

12-hour night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM), 36 hours a week.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Supervisor/Charge Nurse for our Med Surg and ER departments. The ideal candidate will function as a working supervisor, dedicating their time effectively between Med Surg and ER areas.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Med Surg and ER departments.
• Provide direct patient care as needed, applying nursing skills and expertise.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
• Manage staff performance and assist in staff scheduling.
• Support and train nursing staff in evidence-based practices and protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
• Submit any OB/Newborn Stabilization education/training received.
