Staff Registered Nurse - Critical Access Hospital

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

This position requires rotating shifts, including days, nights, weekdays, weekends, and holidays. The staff RN will work 12-hour shifts and be expected to cover every third weekend, with holiday coverage based on rotation.

Job Description

The Staff Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in both the emergency department and medical-surgical department of a critical access hospital recognized nationally as a Top 20 Critical Access Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in emergency and medical-surgical settings.
• Assess and monitor patient conditions and administer medications as necessary.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and care plans.
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner in the electronic health record.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
• Experience in emergency and med-surg nursing preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
