Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit

Days (0700-1930) every other weekend

Job Description

The Progressive Care Unit provides direct care and influences care for acutely ill patients who are moderately stable but have an elevated risk for instability. Care is delivered through advanced knowledge and experience, offering advanced monitoring, assessments, and interventions to ensure patient safety and quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit.
• Conduct advanced monitoring and assessments.
• Implement interventions to manage the care of moderately stable patients.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission.
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS required.
• AHA ACLS and NIHSS required.
• PCU and basic EKG experience preferred.
• Verification of high school diploma or equivalent required due to CAP requirements for moderate complexity testing.
