Registered Nurse - Acute Rehab

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day Shift: 5x8 Hours (08:30 - 17:00). Schedule may vary between Tuesday through Saturday or Sunday through Thursday.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with acute rehab experience or a willingness to float to the rehab unit. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment while ensuring adherence to best practices and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the acute rehabilitation unit.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progress and document changes in condition using the Epic charting system.
• Engage in patient and family education to promote recovery and health maintenance.
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience required.
• Acute rehab experience preferred.
• Must hold a valid RN license.
• Previous charge experience is beneficial.
• Ability to float among units as required.
