Day shift, 5x8-hour schedule (08:00 - 17:00). Self-scheduling available based on HomeCare office needs.

Job Description

The Home Health Registered Nurse will provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, focusing on various medical and surgical conditions, including cardiac, orthopedic, and respiratory issues. Responsibilities include patient assessment, creating and implementing care plans, medication administration, and patient education. The position requires a strong foundation in OASIS documentation and home exercise programs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and evaluations.
• Implement and monitor care plans, modifying as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families on health management and safety.
• Document patient progress and changes in condition meticulously.
• Ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols.
• Manage medical equipment and devices used in patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of home health experience.
• OASIS training preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse in Florida or a compact license.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for home visits.
