Registered Nurse - Night Shift (3-12 Hour Shifts)

Schedule

Full-time night shifts: 3 (12-hour) shifts per week from 6 PM to 6:30 AM, every other weekend, and rotating holidays.

Job Description

This position involves planning and providing total patient care using the nursing process. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs, directing patient teaching, and guiding the activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient needs using the nursing process.
• Plan and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provide guidance and teaching for patients and their families.
• Supervise and assist ancillary personnel in patient care tasks.
• Maintain standards of professional nursing practice.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Iowa RN license.
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required.
• Experience preferred, but not essential.
