Registered Nurse (RN) - Weekend Shift

This is a weekend position with shifts from 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for planning and providing comprehensive patient care using the nursing process, which involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs. The RN will guide patient education and oversee ancillary personnel while maintaining high standards of professional nursing practice.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient needs and develop an individualized care plan.
• Implement nursing interventions and monitor patient progress.
• Direct and educate patients and their families regarding care and treatment plans.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of ancillary nursing staff.
• Maintain compliance with professional nursing standards and protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Iowa RN license.
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required.
• Experience is preferred but not required.
