Physical Therapist - Outpatient Rehabilitation

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 5x8-hour schedule (08:00 AM - 04:00 PM). Weekend shifts may be necessary.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist with experience in outpatient rehabilitation to join our team. Responsibilities will include developing treatment plans, conducting evaluations, and implementing therapy interventions tailored to patients' needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various physical therapy specialties and be committed to providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Conduct evaluations and reassessments to track patient progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Utilize appropriate therapeutic modalities and techniques.
• Monitor and document patient progress in required charting systems.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant physical therapy setting.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience with manual therapy and lymphedema management is preferred.
• Familiarity with Community Hospital charting system is required.
• Must have a valid state physical therapy license prior to starting.
