Registered Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12-Hour (18:15 - 06:45). Every other weekend required, no call.

Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will provide respiratory care in an acute care community hospital setting with a focus on adult critical care and emergency services. Responsibilities include the administration of treatment and therapies in alignment with RT driven protocols, as well as support during intubations and bronchoscopy procedures.

Responsibilities

• Administer nebulizer treatments, high flow oxygen, NIV, cough assist, and IPV.
• Assist with intubations and bronchoscopy procedures.
• Manage mechanical ventilation and perform in-house transport of mechanically vented patients.
• Conduct pulmonary toileting and perform arterial blood gas analysis.
• Provide continuous albuterol treatments as needed.
• Care for patients across all age groups: infants to geriatrics.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of respiratory care experience required.
• Must hold a valid New Hampshire state license.
• Required certifications: BLS.
• Preferred certifications: ACLS, PALS, CRTT, RRT.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
