Schedule

Day shift: 3x12-hour shifts from 06:15 AM to 06:45 PM, requiring every other weekend and no call.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team at an acute care community hospital. The hospital features 300 beds and offers a range of services, including emergency room care, adult medical/surgical care, and critical care.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory treatments including nebulizers, high flow oxygen, and non-invasive ventilation (NIV).
• Assist with intubation and bronchoscopy procedures.
• Manage mechanical ventilation and perform in-house transport of mechanically ventilated patients.
• Provide care for pediatric patients in the emergency room, pending demonstrated competency.
• Conduct pulmonary toileting, ABG sampling, and medication administration as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Respiratory Care, with a focus on acute care environments.
• Required certifications: BLS and NH state license.
• Preferred certifications: ACLS and PALS.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
• Experience with airway management and a variety of respiratory therapies including CPAP/BiPAP.
