LTC Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Long Term Care Facility

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shifts are variable, with options for 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts. Caregivers will not be asked to rotate between night and day shifts, except for urgent staffing needs.

Job Description

We are seeking a Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with previous travel experience for a position at a Long Term Care Facility. The ideal candidate must have submitted an application for an Alaska CNA license, which can be pending upon application submission. Documentation of the application must be provided upon application.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Monitoring and reporting changes in patient conditions.
• Assist with ambulation, feeding, and hygiene.
• Document care provided and maintain patient records accurately.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of one year of experience in Long Term Care.
• Current CNA license in another state or valid Alaska CNA license application submitted.
• Completion of a formal CNA training program (certificate or transcript required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Alaska Food Worker Certification (to be obtained during orientation).
