Night Shift: 5x8-Hour (23:00 - 07:30), Friday to Tuesday

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Sterile Processing Technician with experience in high-level disinfection and sterilization processes. This position focuses on preparing, cleaning, and sterilizing medical instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning, decontamination, and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment.
• Utilize proper wrapping and sterilization techniques to ensure instrument safety.
• Document sterilization processes and maintain accurate equipment records.
• Inspect instruments for functionality and cleanliness.
• Assist in managing inventory and supplies related to surgical instruments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of experience in a sterile processing environment preferred.
• Certifications: CBSPD or IAHCSMM/HSP, with knowledge of Robotics & SPM preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
