Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Radiation Oncology Technologist to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary licensure and certifications, along with experience in oncology settings.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiation therapy equipment to deliver prescribed doses of radiation.
• Prepare patients for procedures and ensure their comfort during treatment.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to assess patient needs and treatment plans.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for imaging and treatment equipment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• New York State License (required at time of submission).
• ARRT Certification in Radiation Therapy.
• Experience with Truebeam, Aria, and Identify systems preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in radiation oncology.
• Travel experience is preferred.
• Flu vaccine required; exemptions must be submitted 2 weeks prior to start.
