Speech Language Pathologist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 5x8-hour schedule from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM or 09:00 AM to 06:00 PM (1-hour lunch), including every 3rd weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in acute care and inpatient settings, specifically focused on adult speech and swallowing therapy. You will be responsible for evaluating and developing plans of care for adult patients, addressing their swallowing and language/cognitive status.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat acute care and adult patients concerning speech and swallow conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
• Utilize Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS) as needed to guide treatment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid State License as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP).
• 2 years of inpatient adult speech and swallow experience.
• MBSS certification is preferred.
