Surgical Processing Technician - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night 5x8-Hour (23:00 - 07:00) with required weekends including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Surgical Processing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in sterile processing and knowledge of Surgical Processing Management (SPM) and Robotics. This position does not require on-call duties but does require a commitment to a block schedule.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain surgical equipment and instruments.
• Perform high-level disinfection and sterilization procedures.
• Assemble and organize surgical trays and sets.
• Document equipment usage and maintenance accurately.
• Utilize various sterilization methods including steam and chemical indicators.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a surgical processing or similar role.
• Preferred certifications: CBSPD, IAHCSMM/HSP.
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system is preferred.
• Robotics experience is greatly preferred.
