This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:00) and Night 4x10-Hour (22:00 - 08:00) shifts are available. On-call coverage is required for four nights.

Job Description

The Vascular Ultrasound Technologist will be responsible for performing vascular ultrasound procedures as part of the diagnostic imaging team. This role requires a skilled professional who can provide accurate assessments and ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular ultrasound examinations including but not limited to carotid, aorta, and extremity studies.
• Utilize advanced ultrasound technology to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss and interpret results.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in vascular ultrasound.
• Certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) is required.
• State licensure (OBMI) is mandatory.
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
