Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Travel RN for our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The ideal candidate will have a strong acute care background with a focus on neonatal care and be prepared to work both independently and collaboratively within a highly skilled team.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the delivery room admissions and initial stabilization of newborns.
- Provide care for neonates including feeder-growers and ventilated infants.
- Collaborate with the Neonatal Nurse Practitioner during procedures such as umbilical line placement and intubations.
- Utilize specialized equipment, including Giraffe Omnibeds and STAR GE resuscitation units.
- Participate in a supportive and collaborative care environment with an engaged leadership team.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum 1 year of current NICU RN acute care experience.
- BLS and NRP certifications required.
- Level 2 NICU experience is essential.
- Infant resuscitation experience is a must.
- Preferred: Level 3 or Level 4 NICU experience, experience with Eat Sleep Console for neonatal abstinence syndrome.
