Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Schedule

Nights - 3 12-hour shifts (36 hours weekly) following the first week of orientation. No guarantee of hours.

Assignment Duration

This is a 15-week contract position.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join a fast-paced, team-oriented environment in a 28-bed department that includes 4 trauma bays, 2 behavioral health rooms, and 22 cardiac monitor rooms. The ER RN will experience fast patient turnover and be required to provide high-quality patient care in critical situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate assessment and intervention for diverse patient needs in the emergency room
• Work collaboratively with a team to stabilize and manage critically ill patients
• Utilize advanced clinical skills in a fast-paced environment
• Administer medications and perform necessary procedures effectively

Required Experience/Certifications/Licensure

• Must have an active Hawaii RN license by the start of the assignment
• Previous emergency room experience is preferred

Additional Information

Candidates must arrive the Thursday before their start date to attend an employee health appointment on Friday. Please confirm your ability to meet this requirement before accepting the start date offered.
