Night Shift: 5x8s, 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM (Monday - Friday) with holiday rotation.

Job Description

The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for the sterilization, decontamination, assembly, and wrapping of surgical instruments and other medical equipment. The role requires expertise in high-level disinfection and proper selection of wrapping materials.

Responsibilities

• Perform sterilization and decontamination processes for surgical instruments.
• Assemble and wrap instrument sets and trays according to protocols.
• Ensure compliance with infection control standards and procedures.
• Maintain inventory and functionality of sterilization equipment.
• Identify and resolve any issues with instrumentation and sterilization processes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sterile processing.
• National Certifications: CBSPD and/or HSPA.
• Experience in Level 1 Trauma center preferred.
• Experience with neuro, GU, robotics, ENT, ortho, transplant, and gynecological cases is a plus.
