Outpatient Physical Therapist - ASAP Start

Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating assigned patients and developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and physician direction. This role involves designing functional treatment programs that support effective patient recovery and return to community activities. The therapist will serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers, all while adhering to professional standards and organizational compliance guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients to develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Document patient care and progress in a clear, concise, and timely manner.
• Ensure that care is provided under signed physician orders and complies with relevant insurance approvals.
• Participate in the student education program, providing guidance and evaluations.
• Create and pursue a personalized professional development plan in collaboration with clinical management.
• Adhere to state practice acts and maintain professional licensure in good standing.
• Awareness and participation in performance improvement initiatives within the organization.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active and valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position with a 5x8.0 schedule.
