Night shift, 4 - 12 hour shifts, 7 PM - 7:30 AM

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telemetry nursing and be prepared to handle a variety of patient care responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Med/Surg Telemetry environment
• Monitor patients' telemetry readings and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and their families on health management and care
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Active Ohio RN license or compact state license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required
