Night shift, 4-12 hour shifts, 7 PM - 7:30 AM.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for night shifts in a high-volume, acute care environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a telemetry unit.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and report significant changes to the care team.
• Administer medications and implement treatment plans as per physician orders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care delivery and safety.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely in the electronic health record.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions and post-discharge care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required.
• Active and valid Ohio nursing license or compact state license in hand.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
• Strong understanding of telemetry monitoring and patient care protocols.
