Surgical Technician - Trauma Level I & II Experience Required

Job Description

We are seeking a Surgical Technician with at least 2 years of experience in Trauma Level I and II settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of surgical procedures and sterile techniques, along with proficiency in using specialized sterilization equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures, ensuring proper sterilization and handling of instruments.
• Utilize steam sterilizers, washer disinfectors, and other specialized equipment as needed.
• Maintain asterility and adhere to established protocols throughout surgical processes.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
• Participate in the processing of scopes and managing case carts.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of surgical technician experience, specifically in Trauma Level I and II facilities.
• Certifications in BLS, CBSPD, and IAHCSMM/HSPA required.
• Active Maryland or Compact license is required at the time of submission.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.
