Cath Lab Technologist - Day Shift

4x10 hour shifts, 07:00 – 17:30. Flexibility required to work until all procedures are complete.

Job Description

The Cath Lab Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations. This role requires proficiency in scrubbing and monitoring procedures within the Cath Lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Conducting coronary diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Assisting in the setup and operation of specialized cardiac equipment.
• Monitoring patient status during procedures and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
• Participating in on-call duties including one weekend per month and weekly call shifts.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• ARRT or RCIS certification (registered or in process), along with a South Carolina license is mandatory.
• Experience with a variety of cardiac procedures including coronary interventions and monitoring.
• Radiation badge from the agency is required; MUSC does not provide radiation badges.
