Pediatric Cath Lab Rad Tech

Schedule

Day shift, 5x8 hours (07:00 - 15:30). On-call requirement of approximately 8-10 shifts per month, including weekend coverage.

Job Description

The Pediatric Cath Lab Rad Tech is responsible for performing imaging procedures and assisting in various cardiac interventions for pediatric patients. This role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic catheterizations and cardiac procedures, including congenital heart interventions.
• Assist in the placement of balloons, stents, and valves.
• Conduct pediatric and adult transplant interventions and related procedures.
• Maintain a safe environment for patients and staff while adhering to safety protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a pediatric cath lab setting preferred.
• National certifications: PALS, BLS, ACLS (American Heart Association only).
• Desired certifications: CCI with RCIS/RCES preferred. ARRT (R) with SCRQSA (R) acceptable.
• Experience with pediatric interventional radiology procedures is a plus.
