Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. The ideal candidate will have experience with a diverse patient population, including pediatrics, and be comfortable handling high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Manage multiple patient diagnoses including stroke, sepsis, trauma, and cardiac cases.
• Utilize specialty equipment such as Rapid Infusors and Arctic Sun.
• Administer required drips and medications as per protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in floating to other departments as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of experience in an Emergency Department with pediatric experience.
• Current NY RN license and active NURSYS report.
• Current certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC.
• Experience with EPIC EMR system is required.
• Travel experience is required; must reside 75 miles away to be considered for travel rates.
