Radiologic Technologist - Varied Shifts

Shifts: Varied - average of 3 days of call per month. No guarantee of hours or time requested off.

Job Description

The Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for operating various radiographic equipment, including but not limited to DR fixed equipment, DR fluoro equipment, C-arms, and portable DR equipment. Candidates must possess a strong knowledge of radiation safety and protocols, and be proficient in documenting patient information within the Epic EMR system.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of imaging procedures independently and efficiently.
• Ensure adherence to radiation safety protocols and maintain a dosimetry badge.
• Document patient history and imaging results in electronic medical records.
• Collaborate effectively with medical staff to support patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of independent experience as a registered Radiologic Technologist.
• Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer.
• Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience with Philips DR, Philips C-arms, OEC C-arms, and Epic EMR is preferred.
