Surgical Technologist - Travel Position

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Rotating shifts including days, evenings, and nights with a requirement for call and weekends. Call response time is 30 minutes.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team for a travel position. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced surgical environment and must be proficient in scrubbing a wide variety of procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures.
• Assist the surgical team by providing instruments and supplies during surgery.
• Maintain a sterile environment throughout the surgical procedure.
• Effectively communicate with surgical team members regarding patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Certification with NBSTSA or NCCT is mandatory.
• A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the operating room, preferably 3 years.
• At least 1 year of experience in a Level 1 Trauma center.
• Minimum of 1 year of travel experience within the last 3 years.
• Strong skills in general, orthopedic, neuro, vascular, trauma, robotics, and transplant surgical procedures.
