Sterile Processing Technician

Schedule

This position is full-time, working from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, 40 hours per week.

Assignment Duration

This is a contract position for a duration of 90 days.

Job Description

The Sterile Processing Technician will be responsible for ensuring the proper cleaning, sterilization, and maintenance of surgical instruments. This role includes taking on call responsibilities within the department and may require holiday shifts if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Process and sterilize surgical instruments according to established protocols.
• Ensure all surgical instruments are properly maintained and stored.
• Participate in the on-call rotation as needed.
• Assist in training and supervising other staff members as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Credentials: CRCST or CSPDT required.
• Compliance with all mandatory health screenings prior to onboarding.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform under pressure.
