Stepdown RN - Night Shift

3 x 12-Hour Night Shifts (7 PM - 7 AM) with Holiday Rotation. Requires weekend coverage every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Stepdown RN to join our dedicated nursing team. This position requires a skilled and compassionate nurse who is experienced in caring for patients in a step-down unit setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care for assigned patients in a step-down unit.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with patients, family members, and healthcare team members.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Current South Carolina RN license or Compact license in hand prior to start.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• NIHSS certification preferred.
