Registered Nurse (RN) - Critical Care, Med/Surg, ICU & ER Float

Assignment Duration

This is a contract position lasting through the holiday period, with a commitment of 22-26 weeks.

Schedule

Full-Time, 3x12 day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, including rotating weekends and holidays.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be cross-trained across multiple units, including Med/Surg, ICU, and ER. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across Med/Surg, ICU, and ER units.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Float as needed across various units to meet patient care needs.
• Safely administer medications and provide appropriate treatments.
• Monitor and document patient progress and outcomes accurately.
• Assist in emergency response and critical care situations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Currently licensed by NYS as a Registered Professional Nurse.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Med/Surg, Tele, or Critical Care units.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS.
• Ability to achieve Basic Coronary Care certification within 6 months of hire.
• CPI certification within 90 days of hire is mandatory.
