Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with ICU experience to join our team. This role requires proficiency in providing care for patients in various critical care environments, including neuro/trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, and CCU. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in floating between multiple ICUs and must be able to competently care for ICU patients in situations such as ED and PACU awaiting bed placement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to ICU patients across various units.
• Float to different critical care areas as needed based on patient requirements.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, documenting any changes.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy as prescribed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Significant experience in a Level I trauma center.
• Previous travel nursing experience is required.
• Competency test must be completed within 24 hours of submission.

Schedule

This position requires working 48 hours per week on a 7A - 7:30P shift.
