Behavioral Health/Psych LPN

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shifts: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00), weekdays, every other weekend.

Job Description

The Behavioral Health/Psych LPN will provide care to adult patients in a behavioral health setting. The LPN will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure the delivery of quality patient care and adhere to all state regulations and institutional policies.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and provide treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the nursing staff.
• Assist in the assessment and evaluation of patient needs.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Support patients in therapeutic activities and promote mental wellness.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• Current LPN license in West Virginia or compact license.
• BCLS, CPI, and First Aid certifications are required; CPI/First Aid can be obtained during orientation.
