Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to critically ill patients. The position requires floating to the Emergency Room and Med-Surg departments, with an emphasis on patient total care, including ventilator management and medication administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide total care for ICU patients, including management of ventilators and titratable drips.
• Assist in patient hygiene and comfort measures.
• Float to the Emergency Room and Med-Surg departments as needed, with defined duties to support patient care.
• Respond to call lights, transport patients, start IVs, and perform blood draws when floating in the ER.
• Manage a full assignment of patients when floating to Med-Surg, up to 6 patients, or assist as an aide for 12 patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Experience in ER and Med-Surg settings preferred.
• TNCC certification preferred.
• Familiarity with ventilators, titratable drips, and medication mixing is preferred.
