Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Unit

Job Description

Join our dedicated education unit as a Registered Nurse in a 30-bed Med/Surg unit, focusing on patient care in a fast-paced environment. Although this unit is committed to education, travel nurses will primarily care for a mixed population of Med/Surg patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for a mixed Med/Surg caseload.
• Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 5-6:1.
• Administer medications and treatment as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Experience in a Level 1 trauma center or a mid-to-large hospital is preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
• Must exhibit a positive attitude and timely work ethic.

Assignment Duration

This is an 89-week contract position with guaranteed 36 hours weekly.
