Registered Nurse - Rehabilitation

Job Description

Join our state-of-the-art, 50-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced the debilitating effects of severe injury or illness. Our rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey, focusing on maximizing health, function, and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assist in daily activities according to individual patient needs.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort while adhering to all clinical protocols and standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff to foster a warm and welcoming environment.

Schedule

This position offers a day shift schedule from 06:45 to 19:15, with a guaranteed 36 hours per week and weekend hours required every other weekend.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a rehabilitation or medical-surgical environment preferred
