Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) - Days

3x12 Hour Shifts (07:00 AM - 07:30 PM)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care during the day shift. The ideal candidate will bring at least one year of experience, preferably in a similar nursing setting, and display a compassionate approach to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients in the medical/surgical unit.
• Monitoring patient health and vital signs, administering medications, and managing IV therapy.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize care delivery.
• Providing patient and family education regarding treatments and health conditions.
• Documenting patient care and progress in the electronic health record using Epic.
• Adhering to infection control protocols and quality care standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland or compact state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Clinical Practice Improvement (CPI) certification preferred.
• 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience required.
• Experience with electronic health records, particularly Epic, is preferred.
