Registered Nurse - Med/Surg

Schedule

12-hour day/night rotating shifts with weekends as scheduled.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with a strong Med/Surg background to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a variety of patients, including those with complex diagnoses. Our unit provides a supportive environment with a focus on patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg unit.
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes promptly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient care and medical information accurately in the EMR system.
• Assist with patient education regarding treatment plans and procedures.
• Float to other units as needed to provide additional support and care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN License.
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required. ACLS and PALS recommended, but not required.
• Experience with Epic EMR system is mandatory.
• Strong background in Med/Surg nursing.
