Registered Nurse - Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP)

Schedule

This position operates Day shifts from 0700 to 1930, including every 3rd weekend.

Job Description

The LDRP team provides comprehensive care encompassing labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum support, along with newborn care, in a family-centered and medically safe environment. The team is composed of highly trained nurses and medical staff, ensuring a seamless experience for patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional nursing care throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum phases.
• Facilitate newborn care and education for families.
• Collaborate with medical staff and other team members to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Administer medications and perform necessary medical procedures related to patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and provide timely interventions as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission.
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification required.
• AHA ACLS certification required for AGH LDRP.
• NRP and STABLE certifications are preferred.
